Steve’s public accounting experience includes working in the tax department of a “Big Five” accounting firm as well as an auditor at a regional accounting firm.  Over the course of his career, he has held roles at the Accounting Manager, Controller, CFO, and Vice President level.

Steve is most proud of his military background. During his nine years of service to his country as an Air Force Officer he reached the rank of Captain and held the position of Comptroller. Steve founded this firm on similar core values he followed while serving; he has a strong belief in ethical standards and respect for those the firm serves.

Steve holds a CPA license from the state of Texas. His education includes a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management (MBA) from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of West Florida where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Steve is also a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® 2009, 2010.
